On 18 May 2021, 3:00 pm CET / 9:00 am EST, WISeKey, the leading global cybersecurity company, will hold a webinar in cooperation with blockchain protocol developer Casper Labs, data marketplace developer Ocean Protocol and satellite communication service Fossa Systems: "The Leading Trusted Non Fungible Token Event".
The discussion focuses on the launch of the first-ever Non-Fungible Token (NFT) from space, planned for June 2021.
WISeKey and Casper Labs aim to open a marketplace on the Casper Network for buying and selling NFTs, which are digital twins of artwork and luxury goods. The webinar will also cover the Casper Network’s strengths, including an upgradable infrastructure that supports innovation and transparent pricing for businesses. It has the potential to set a new standard for high-volume, secure NFT transactions.
The same webinar will also introduce WISeArt, a secure product from WISeKey and Ocean Protocol. It uses both NFTs and fungible tokens (FTs) to represent physical artworks, allowing more fluid price discovery and staking on physical artworks. Its innovative technology also ensures the authenticity and traceability of goods.
