Caspian Week Forum 2025 returns to Baku with a new addition: the Greater Caspian Summit, a high-level platform that brings global decision-makers together to bridge the Global North and Global South.

The 2025 edition, originally announced for Baku, was held entirely online on 24–25 October.

Part of Caspian Week Forum 2025. June 26–27, 2025 | Baku, Azerbaijan | www.caspianweek.org. This year the Forum is expanding its global impact with the launch of the Greater Caspian Summit, a high-level strategic platform bringing global decision-makers together to bridge the Global North and Global South.

With the visionary support and in-person participation of H.E. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Greater Caspian Summit is a major new part of Caspian Week. It supports our mission to shape bold, cooperative responses to today’s most pressing challenges.

The Forum and Summit will explore: global governance reform for a multipolar world; industrial innovation in the AI era; climate resilience, infrastructure and COP alignment; food, water and health security; education, jobs and civilisational equity; and post-conflict development and peacebuilding, including in Karabakh. From dialogue to action: mobilising private equity, venture capital and Islamic finance; launching venture-building platforms to scale Caspian-region startups globally; promoting public-private initiatives in digital, industrial and clean-tech sectors; and issuing a Joint Communiqué on Global North–South cooperation. Who will attend? Top officials and decision-makers from several countries, global investors, startup founders, academics and civil society leaders, joining together to turn vision into impact.
