A successful start to the "New Normal" in Supply Chain and Logistics It was an absolute pleasure for the Integral Group / Greater Caspian Association team to be part of the DP World Global Freight Summit held recently in Dubai, UAE, which was attended by 1500 participants, including many industry leaders and entrepreneurs.
The summit clearly showed that the supply chain industry is really taking positive action on leadership, innovation and sustainability as it looks ahead after the pandemic. It was a real melting pot of experience, knowledge, creativity and ideas, especially in the lively interactive panel sessions, where exceptional guests shared their views on a wide range of subjects. The sessions focused on the challenges and innovations that will shape the future of supply chains. Invited to speak at the Plenary Panel named "Future-proofing Global Trade in an Era of Uncertainty Led", Murat Seitnepesov (Chairman of the Board, Integral Group of Companies; President, Greater Caspian Association) shared his views on the challenges and pain points facing the logistics industry, and on how modern technology is making supply chains more efficient and easing some bottlenecks. Murat also stressed that the supply chain of the future must be agile, flexible, efficient, resilient and digitally networked.
Our participation included a separate booth set up by the Caspian Container Company SA www.caspian-container.ch, which is the logistics arm of the Integral Group and operates primarily in the Greater Caspian Region.
These four days gave us a fabulous opportunity to show the progress and initiatives of the Integral Group, exchange ideas with some of the most knowledgeable and influential leaders in the global freight community, and learn about DP World's impressive state-of-the-art digital tools. We took so much from the summit that will help us keep shaping our business with innovative solutions that meet customer needs as they plan and manage their supply chains.
Congratulations to DP World for showing industry leadership and organising such a fantastic event in Dubai, UAE, for the global freight community. We look forward to the next DP World Global Freight Summit.
