DP World Global Freight Summit

A successful start to the "New Normal" in Supply Chain and Logistics

It was an absolute pleasure for the Integral Group / Greater Caspian Association team to be part of the DP World https://www.dpworld.com/ Global Freight Summit held recently in Dubai, UAE and attended by 1500 participants including many industry leaders and entrepreneurs.

The summit clearly demonstrated that the supply chain industry really is taking positive action in terms of leadership, innovation and sustainability to look ahead positively post pandemic.It was a real melting pot of experience, knowledge, creativity and ideas, that was demonstrated particularly well during the lively interactive panel sessions which gave the opportunity for some exceptional panel guests to give us their valued views and opinions on a wide range of subjects that focused on looking forward to the challenges and innovations that will affect the future of supply chains.

Invited to speak at the Plenary Panel named "Future-proofing Global Trade in an Era of Uncertainty Led",Murat Seitnepesov (Chairman of the Board, Integral Group of Companies; President, Greater Caspian Association) expressed his opinion on the challenges and pain points the logistics industry is currently facing, and how modern technology is facilitating efficiency and reducing some of the bottlenecks in the supply chain. Murat also stressed the necessity for the supply chain of the future to be agile, flexible, efficient, resilient and digitally networked.

Our participation included the separate booth set up by the Caspian Container Company SA www.caspian-container.ch which is the logistics arm of the Integral Group operating primarily in the Greater Caspian Region.

These four days gave us all a fabulous opportunity to demonstrate the progress and initiatives Integral Group is taking, exchange ideas with some of the most knowledgeable and influential leadersin the global freight community and learn about DP World's impressive state-of-the-art digital tools.We took from the summit so much that will help us continue to shape our business with innovative solutions in line with customer demands as they plan and manage their supply chains going forward.
